📌 The two end pieces of a roll of gimbap are called 꽁다리 [kkong-da-ri]. While 꽁다리 is the standard term, many Koreans also affectionately call them 꼬다리 [kko-dari] or 꽁지 [kkong-ji]. These pieces are highly coveted because the fillings stick out, offering a much more flavorful and satisfying bite than the middle pieces.
